How To Put Mixpod on Tumblr

Mixpod is maybe the best looking player to get some Tumblr Music on your Blog. Many other widgets also create YouTube playlists that just play the music, for instance, TumblrPlayer and SCM Player

How To Get Mixpod on Tumblr as a Video Playlist Post.

1. Start with the usual search for both individual songs or music bands in the Mixpod’s homepage:









2. Start adding songs to your mixpod playlist and once you are done, click on the Customize tab.









3. The customize options are important since besides colors and skins, you can choose to set it on autoplay, shuffle and loop.









4. Now, click on the Save Playlist tab, and give it a name before hitting the SAVE (get code) button









5. Once you are taken to the last screen, click on Tumblr on the left sidebar and copy the embed code









6. Get the mixpod embeddable code and paste it in a video post type in Tumblr, after that, hit the publish button and you are done.

How To add Mixpod Music Player on Your Tumblr Sidebar.

1. Follow the same first five steps on the tutorial above. Once You have the widget playlist code, you might want to remove some stuff before pasting it into your sidebar. Using our EXAMPLE CODE BELOW (that means you dont have to paste OUR Code, just use it as a guide) Get rid of the few last urls and images just like we did below

2. Now paste your trimmed code in your Description Box. Check the last step below, since obviously, this widget is far too big for any Tumblr Sidebar.

How To Hide Mixpod or Make It Smaller on your Tumblr.

1. You will notice that there are two pairs of width=”" and height=”" parameters, you will need to adjust those numbers until they fit the exact size you want.
2. If you want to completely hide your Mixpod Player on your tumblr, just set the width and height to 0, beware that almost noone likes to start listening to music and be unable to stop it.
