Chat Box Widgets for Tumblr

There’s a vast amount of Chat Widgets and addons for websites, and since Tumblr doesn’t have a chat widget built-in that can be added to either its sidebar or footer, we created this list of Tumblr Chat Widgets, you just have to go to the site, create and customize your chat addon and then grab and paste the code in your Tumblr theme’s html, or even the description box.

List of Tumblr Chat Widgets and Addons.

MeeboMe. Clearly, the most used Tumblr Chat Addon, both in Tumblelogs and other platforms as well.  Easy to customize, you can edit the username and sound control as well.

ZohoChat. If you don’t really like complex chat widgets, then adding this chat addon to your Tumblelog is the solution.  It’s easy to install and definitely the most simple of all, not many functions or options but works if you just want that little box where you can leave messages in real time.

Chatango. This is another Tumblr Chat addon that’s amongst the most used, it can be simple and has a high level of customization at the same time, yet simple to embed in your Tumblr.

CBox. It stands out since you control the message posting, blocking spam and blocking users, aldo highly customizable and free of course, unless you want the premium version.

NOTE: Have trouble inserting the Tumblr Chat widget?. Leave a message, we’ll help you.

    Hey,
So you said above that if I had trouble inserting one of the tumblr widgets, that you’ll help me? So yeah, I’m having some trouble lol.

So, I’m using the “http://chatango.com” one, and I made it and have it all set up with the code that I have to put in my HTML and everything for my tumblr blog, but when I try to do it, it pops up in weird places and whatnot. So, I guess my question is, where do I put it (the code), specifically, in my HTML so it pops up where I want it to? Which, I suppose, would be in the either maybe top left corner or the bottom left, if it wouldn’t be effected by my infinite scroll. (It would keep moving to the very bottom of the page instead of staying in the corner.) And also, is there any way to make it so it like, hides on the side of my blog, almost? So you can like click a little box or something and the chat will pop up beside it or something? I don’t know if that’s possible with the “http://chatango.com” one, but I did see a chat box that popped out on someone else’s blog. It’s this one, “http://l-ushchanel.tumblr.com/”; see how theirs pops out from the left side of their blog? Yeah can you help me do that, please?

Please respond as soon as possible, and thank you for the help xoxo.

I have infinite scroll… all the chat boxes cling to the bottom of the screen, meaning I have to go to the bottom of my tumblr to view the chat box .-. I really like chatango, but I can’t find a way to edit the code to hook it to the top right of my tumblr or something… can you fix it or tell me how?
