My tumblr apparently got suspended I don’t know why, I have not spammed or done anything that might lead to suspension. I really had many websites and things on my tumblr that I’ve worked for a long time, so I am really upset that my account was suspended without any notification of why, how long or how. Can you please look into it? I never did anything wrong and I would really like it if I had my tumblr account back. Thank you so much

Tumblr does suspend accounts based on some algorithm that only they know. Of course, having millions of tumblr blogs created every month, they don’t often review accounts manually to get them suspended, but if you are spamming, tag abusing, harrasing other people through anon messages, posting illegal/copyrighted content, promoting activities that are not allowed like self-harm, racism, crime, etc. If you have indeed incurred in any of the aforementioned stuff, your suspended Tumblr account will never be retrieved.

What could have happened, and is a problem lots of Tumblr users report, is they are victims of hackers, and once they take over their account, they start spamming until they get the account shut down.

How To Get Your Suspended Tumblr Account is You Believe It’s a Mistake.

Send an email to support@tumblr.com explaining with as much detail as you can, why you think your blog should be reinstated.
Bear in mind that this is different than reactivating a deleted tumblr account, chances are zero to none that they will get your suspended tumblr account back since they have a pretty good formula that triggers the alarm that leads to an account suspension.

Getting the account suspended message when in Fact It’s Not

If you type in the url www.tumblr.com/suspended , you will receive the “account suspended” message, even if your account is actually working (you can just check out your blogs and see they are online.)

If you are getting the “too many redirects” loop that leads to the “suspended account” message, send an email to support@tumblr.com and you will get that fixed.

hi, i am having trouble with my tumblr, everytime i try to go on it i cant it says it doesnt exist, and if i try to go on my tumblr on a different computer it makes the whole app “suspended” or blocked. i changed my password and everything and it still hasnt worked, i think somebody hacked it and put a virus on it. please help. please get back to me and help i really dont want to loose my tumblr. THANK YOU!

I need to get my account unsuspended. I really do not know how it happened, but some how I am still suspended from a couple months ago. Everytime I try to get to tumblr, it say something about too many redirects and tumblr.com/suspended. I would really like to get my blog back as soon as possible!

Hello, yesterday I was adding a lot of the same post to a queue, and then logged off to make my friend a tumblr account and starting adding a lot of the same post to her queue too, then it started to not let me on tumblr both on my account and the account I had just made for my friend, it also stopped working on my phone. Today I discovered both accounts have been suspended, they URL’s for my account was s-ultry.tumblr.com I was wondering why my account has been suspended and could I please have it back as I spend a tremendous amount of time on Tumblr and it means a lot to me personally, or maybe you could at least let me know why it’s been suspended, if I have broken one of the rules of Tumblr I do apologise as I didn’t realised I had and can assure you if you let me know the rule I may or may not have broken I will most defiantly not brake it again. Also is there anyway I can have a tumblr account again in the near future, if I’m not able to have mine back?

Just recently i decided that i wanted to make a tumblr but every time i try to go on tumblr it just says that i am automatically suspended? I’ve never had a tumblr account but plenty of my friends have signed in on theirs on my computer but now i can’t open tumblr at all. Is there anything that you can do to unsuspend my tumblr?

About a month ago i noticed that my tumblr account wont work anymore and goes right to a “suspended” link. Like: “tumblr.com/suspended” I just wanted to know why this was? I haven’t been on in a while and i know i did not post anything that would cause a suspension.

To whom it may concern,
My blog is called schooloftheair.tumblr.com and seems to be down. When I type in that URL it says “not found-cannot find the page you are looking for.” When I go to tumblr.com and try to log in it either will not load the page (suspended), or says unable to load due to cookies enabler. I am trying to stay in touch with my family back home who are following my blog, so would really like to do so as soon as possible. Thanks,

Hi! For some reason, it appears my tumblr account is deactivated and I don’t know why. I just used it this morning and as I tried to log on back now, I couldn’t. Could you activate it again or tell me how to do it?

My tumblr just got suspended today. I have tried everything to fix it but nothing seems to work. Plus i can’t change my password because my email that i put for Tumblr isn’t letting me log in because is found suspicious behavior also.

My tumblr account got suspended as soon as I created it. I got the suspended message at my very first login… What really surprised me was, it was my first login. What possible algorithm would suspend an account on the first login itself ?

This is the problem with these free service 3rd party websites. They are completely in control of what you create on them because it’s their webspace. The minimal support, or complete lack there of, gives one no recourse in a mistaken suspension. Beware.

yesterday is the first day i know tumblr from internet which was a good site , and i registered a name with my frequent used email , and also my web , but it said your account have been suspended , what ? i not even start to put anything on my tumblr , and has been suspended already , is this is a kidding ? what kind of formula it use ?

My blog looks like it’s deleted. It says not found & I can’t post,ask or submit! Although I can still post in my private group tumblr blogs. I also can’t edit my blog settings ! It always say request denied! This also happened to a girl in one of my group blogs. Do you know why ? Please answer !!!!

Mine is randomly become suspended with no explanation.

Any organisation that cannot be bothered to notify their users of impending suspension and reasons (hell, an automated email would do) with an opportunity for resolution does not deserve users.

Goodbye Tumblr. I have no idea what your problem was with me, having read through the Terms closely for any thing I may have unwittingly breached, but I do know what my problem is with you.

My account was suspended because there was a picture of self harm on my blog, so i’m assuming it was because of self harm promotion even though my blog clearly states trigger warnings and i do not promote self harm!
I have emailed tumblr support twice and i’m ticket number 1355723.
A girl once begged tumblr for her account back, and they reactivated it.

I REALLY WANT IT BACK.
