The Tumbeasts are now the official Tumblr Error Pet, pretty much like what the Fail Whale is to Twitter. The Oatmeal (actually Matthew Inman) is responsible for the creation of the artwork, originally named Tumblbeasts they were renamed Tumbeasts by the Tumblr Staff, hope we see these creatures less and less, but if Tumblr continues to grow, we doubt so.  You can visit Tumblr New Error Page here.
