How to Reblog Yourself on Tumblr

Ever wondered why you can easily reblog someone else’s tumblr but not being able to do it with your own?.  Fortunately someone managed to write some code so you can Reblog Yourself on Tumblr (and yes, your own NAME will appear on the post!!!). It’s quite simple, and just requires some simple Tumblr Codes to be added to the theme html.

How to Reblog Your Own Post on Tumblr

  1. Right Click on the following bookmarklet link – REBLOG YOUR OWN POST ON TUMBLR – and choose “Bookmark this link” (I didn’t see that option in the Chrome Browser, so use Firefox or Explorer)
  2. Now, once you are on one of the posts of yours that you want to reblog (not the dashboard, but the article itself ) Click on the Reblogging bookmark you just saved and you will be taken to the reblogging edition screen.

That’s it, remove the dust from your archives and reblog yourself on Tumblr !!.

Learn how to to add a scroll to top button tumblr to let your visitors quickly navigate through your site.

    I discovered how you can do it with Google Chrome. Enable “Always show bookmarks bar”, and then drag that ” REBLOG YOUR OWN POST ON TUMBLR ” link into your bookmarks bar. Click you new bookmark whenever you’re page is on the post you want to reblog. “Happy self-centered blogging” – I forgot who.

    Or (with Chrome) you can just drag the link up into your favourites tab, like you do when you’re adding that share on tumblr button :)
    Thank you so much for this!!! It’s really useful! I just wanted to reblog posts from one of my blogs to another! Thank you so much!!!

    To add bookmarks to Chrome you click on the star at the end of the address bar.

    Tumblr added the function to reblog yourself, but to side blogs.
    So, now this toolbar doesn’t work for me to reblog to my own blog.

    I followed the instructions but when I hit the bookmarked link and it sends me to the reblog page I only have the option to reblog it to one of my other blogs (not to my main one though where I’m reblogging from)……….. Any ideas?

    Why send your reblog link to an external URL. Just change input value to your own name.

    javascript:document.getElementById(‘channel_id’).value=document.getElementById(‘search_form’).t.value;
