Cannot Use Ask Feature on Tumblr?, This is How to Fix it

Since we keep receiving mails from Tumblr users who just can’t use the Tumblr Ask Feature, since every time they click on the link they receive the Ask Error message telling them that the feature is not available yet (?), we decided to test a series of possible “fixes” for this issue

Unfortunaly, none of them worked and the “Ask Me” is not working after all these tries.

A direct email to Tumblr support team might be the only way to get your account revised and get the ask function available again.

What The Tumblr Ask Error Message Says Exactly.

The Tumblr Ask feature error message reads as follows:

Sorry, This feature is not available yet. Please check back in the future.”

How To Fix It.

We’ve tried clearing the cookies and cache from our Browser, loging in from another browser (Chrome, Opera, Safari), even changing IP and computers, and not being able to ask questions on Tumblr seems to be related to the account itself, and not the “tools” that user has.

The only possible solution to fix the Ask feature is to send an email to support@tumblr.com and request your account to be checked so you can finally get rid of the dreaded message “Sorry, This feature is not available yet….”

I go to message/ask my followers and friends but it keeps telling me that the feature is currently not available. I have confirmed my email and my account is a week old as I deleted my old account. This is so frustrating! What can I do to fix it?

it tells me that ‘the feature is currently not available please check back in the future’ i have been checking back for over 4 weeks and its not working ! arrrrgggghhh! please help!

I’m having troubles with Tumblr ask boxes/submit boxes. Whenever I try to submit questions it always ends up saying: ‘Sorry!
This feature is not available yet. Please check back in the future.’

What do I do? I seriously want to ask people questions and submit stories to them, but Tumblr won’t allow me. Can you help?

You guys at least get a message?! Suddenly my tumblr has stopped showing ask boxes/submit boxes (I can go onto the page, but when you get on it, all you can see it the title), its no longer giving me the follow/dashboard buttons when I go onto someone’s blog, and I can only write text posts occasionally and in plain text editor Any suggestions?

when i go to my ask on my Tumblr it says

Not Found
The URL you requested could not be found.

it used to be okay. i tried several different themes to see if it was just the theme that was wrong but it isnt please help me please please please please
